Career Development Program of Aligarh Muslim University at Rebecca Bilelis Institution

December 26th, HOWRAH: A Two Day Career Guidance and Counselling Outreach Programme was conducted by the Department of Education, Aligarh Muslim University Centre Murshidabad (WB) in collaboration with Samaritan Help Mission (Howrah) at Rebecca Belilious English Institution (Howrah) on 24th and 25th December, 2023.Over 100 students of the Secondary Section along with over 150 students from across all streams (Science, Commerce, Humanities) of the Senior Secondary Section attended the Programme with great enthusiasm and active participation.During the two day programme on the 24th topics such as Need & Importance of Guidance & Counselling, Structure of Education System in India, Vocational Courses after Class 10 and History of Aligarh Muslim University were covered. On the 25thtopics such as Financial Schemes for Higher Studies, Academic Courses (BA/ B.Sc./ B.Com.) and Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) were covered in detail by eminent members of the visiting AMU Team.The visiting AMU Team consisted of Mr. Aiyaz A. Khan (Organizing Secretary), Dr. Abdul Samad (Convener) and 6 current students from different backgrounds as members of the Organizing Committee.The AMU Team was very appreciative of this initiative taken by the Founder Secretary (Samaritan Help Mission) Mr. Mamoon Akhtar for organizing this event for the benefit of the students which was also reciprocated by him towards the AMU Team for travelling all the way from Murshidabad to the school campus and especially for taking out time during their vacation to guide the students.This event would not have been a success without the active support & coordination of the Samaritan Help Mission Team which consisted of Mr. Khalid Nawaz, Mr. Ghulam Shahid, Mr. Azad Ahmed, Mr. Micky Singh & Mr. Shah Nawaz Khan.
